While wandering with my family, through the tranquil bush on Emu Mountain, Sunshine Coast, I was quite taken by the simplicity in the beauty of our Native Flora. I took photographs of Eucalyptus & Hakea Actites Seeds that sun-filled day and was inspired to use the images for a new wrap. I was using one that day, because they are so good for bush walking with a little one and seeds have been a symbol of fertility and reproduction since ancient times. Eucalyptus seeds are wrapped themselves, they have a covering to protect through rain and shine, and even the scorching temperature of a bushfire, after which they sprout in the ashes safely. 

The photographs were then incorporated into my design to create this beautiful original artwork.
